Home Care Packages
The most common way to fund your Home Care services is through Home Care Packages (HCP). These are subsidies that have been designed by the government to help Australians remain independent in their own home for as long as they can. We've put together some information for those who are new to Aged Care, providing you with a step-to-step guide for Home Care Package funding.
Commonwealth Home Support Programme
Sometimes all you need is one or two services to help you stay independent, such as a garden maintenance service or a big spring clean. For these entry-level needs, the government has designed the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). Summa Aged Care currently offers CHSP services in Tasmania only.
Fee for Service
If you do not have access to government funding, Summa Care offers the option of Fee for Service (FFS) supports. This service allows you to receive the (extra) supports you need for a fee.
Fee for Service supports can also be used while you are waiting for your Home Care Package to be approved, or if you would like to receive extra services outside of your funding. To find out more about this option, get in touch with us today.
