Summa Mates Club

Hey mate! Keen to join the club? Our social groups meet once a week to get social together. We cook together, have BBQs, go on outdoor adventures or for a night out and so much more!


Creative & DIY

The perfect program for creative minds that like to work on different projects - get crafty and learn how to work on the tools, make your own stay candles and more!



This 1:1 program is designed to prepared you for success in the workplace. Let us be your personal coach and we will support you in finding a job you love!

Hospitality & Barista Training 

Always wanted to learn how to make delicious coffee and aspire to work in a cafe one day? Our Summa Care Hospitality & Barista Training sounds just right for you! You will be trained by our qualified and experienced baristas in our custom-built Airstream Cafe, accessible to people of all abilities, and is equipped with everything a successful cafe could need! You will go through a variety of modules which will help you develop your hospitality and communication skills and learn how to:

  • Prepare & serve coffee and food
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Take orders and process payment
  • Budget and order supplies
  • Communicate and work well in a team

Our program is designed to prepare you for a real-life job in hospitality and combines both practical and theoretical modules. Take the first step now to making delicious brews and entering the hospitality industry!

*This program is currently offered on the Sunshine Coast only.

Cooking For Life

Have you always wanted to learn how to prepare delicious meals and serve up a family dinner? Make sure to join our Cooking For Life program! This program will take place in our Summa Care Community Space - the fully-equipped kitchen is accessible to people of all abilities, and even has its own herb and vegetable garden out in the back! Together with a qualified cook, you will study a number of modules which will help you develop a wide variety of skills. You will learn how to:

  • Prepare a variety of meals and beverages
  • Work safely in a kitchen environment
  • Read recipes and plan meals
  • Budget and shop for ingredients
  • Make healthy choices
  • Communicate and work well in a team

This program is designed to prepare you for real-life cooking at home. If you're looking to increase your independence skills and become a confident cook, this program is the perfect way to achieve these goals!

There is a small contribution fee of $10 per class for the Cooking For Life program - this includes your morning tea and lunch. 


Dedicated Community Houses

We have community houses in several locations with dedicated spaces for activities both indoors and outdoors. Our team has recently moved into new exciting spaces, allowing us to offer you even more activities! With large meetings rooms, kitchens and gardens, the potential for activities is limitless and we are excited for this next chapter.
